• Early spring pre-emergent application on turf
• Seasonal lawn clean-up
• Landscape bed edging, (or April, pre-Derby)
• Mulch planting beds, (or April, pre-Derby)
April:
• Early spring pre-emergent on turf (second application)
• Irrigation start-up
May:
• Late spring post-emergent weed application on turf
June:
• Shrub pruning-first time
• Tree and shrub fertilization-first time
• Tree and shrub insect/disease control-first time
• Install summer annuals
July:
• Summer turf weed/disease/insect control
• Tree pruning
August:
• Tree and shrub fertilization-second time
• Tree and shrub insect/disease control-second time
September:
• Early fall turf fertilization
October:
• Seasonal lawn clean-up
• Shrub pruning, last time for 2010
• Summer annuals removed
• Irrigation shut down now or November, weather dictates
November:
• Late fall turf fertilization
• Leaf removal (first)
December:
• Leaf removal (second)
• Tulip bulbs installed at entrance
IN ADDITION THE FOLLOWING SERVICES ARE ONGOING:
• Bed weed control, chemical application, twice as needed
• Hand weed planting beds, 8 times (every 3rd mowing)
• Mowing, trimming, blowing—weekly as needed
• Irrigation system services as needed
• Snow removal as needed
Additional services such as mole control, tree planting or removal may be contracted to Greenscapes either directly or through a bidding process upon approval of management committee
