The rotating photos in the left column of this home page are being updated . . .

There are 20 garden spots within GP that are maintained by our landscape committee volunteers.  As the plantings begin to blossom during this spring & summer, photos of each of these garden spots will be added.  Hope you enjoy them.  For more information, scroll to the "NEWS" section at the bottom of this page and click on the VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION article.

Geese have left GP lake for now . . .

Broadbent Wildlife Sanctuary sent two of their volunteers to rescue the broken-wing goose that was wandering around the GP lake (and pooping on the sidewalk).

As mentioned in a recent e-blast to GP residents, methods to annoy the geese were taken so they would leave GP during their nesting season.  The accumulating goose poop on the sidewalk was also creating a health risk to residents and their pets.  None of the methods harmed the geese.

Geese will always be attracted to the GP lake.  As usual during the summer months, the sidewalk can be hosed off using the hose boxes installed around the lake.
